Description
I had a brief foray into 3D work with some fimo-esque stuff and made a wyvern-like creature over the weekend. For the wings I used liquid latex but because the latex membranes kept going wrong I opted instead for a more decayed look. It suited the scrawny, twisted litle creature much better. Then I drew a picture based off it. For this I used various derwent artists pencils, a putty rubber and a blending stick. It took about 6 hours in total.
Tymaera stuff (from my project):
Ground Wyverns - a race of flightless, dragon-like creatures. They look much different from the normal serpentine winged wyverns. According to Dragon Lore this is because ground wyverns were once true dragons, but after somehow angering the gods with sins now forgotten the entire bloodline had the gift of speech, flight and reason taken from them and they degenerated into little more than beasts. Unlike true wyverns these creatures can never be tamed and make for a dangerous nuisance.

only one little crit from me: you have a consistency problem with the wings, they don't look the same on both sides (to be more specific, the creature's right wing has 3 joints, and it's left has four). anyway, great job.
